The Driving Force Behind JEP Contracting: Patrick Perkins

A great project starts with a great builder. I’m Patrick Perkins, and for the last 35+ years, construction has been my life’s work. Since founding JEP Contracting in 2001, my mission has been simple: combine decades of hands-on expertise with the industry’s best building practices.

I consider myself a student of the industry. I am constantly reading, networking, and attending trade shows to ensure JEP Contracting utilizes the absolute best materials, techniques, and local suppliers.

Above all, I am a firm believer in the design/build methodology. I love this approach because it brings design and construction together under one roof. For my clients, that means a seamless, collaborative experience from the very first sketch to the final coat of paint—eliminating miscommunication, keeping budgets on track, and ensuring the final result is exactly what you envisioned.

To bring that vision to life safely and professionally, I maintain a comprehensive suite of industry credentials and qualifications:

  • Licensed Construction Supervisor (CSL)
  • Registered Home Improvement Contractor (HIC)
  • Lead-Safe Renovation Contractor
  • Advanced Kitchen & Bath Layout & Design Course
  • Massachusetts Hoisting Engineer Licenses:
    HE-1C: Telescoping Booms without Cables
    HE-2A: Excavators

We don’t just build homes. We also build solid relationships with our clients.

In many ways, we view our relationships with clients the same way that we do about a marriage between individuals. To have a successful working relationship, we all need to have clear lines of communication. Plus, people need to like and respect each other.
