What You'll Do:

• Protect the client's property and maintain site cleanliness to J.E.P. standards.
• Follow all safety, language/conduct, and OSHA policies at every job site.
• Assist with job site setup, daily cleanup, and next-day planning with the Lead Carpenter.
• Assist with on-site carpentry tasks as assigned by the Lead Carpenter/Project Manager.
• Receive, inspect, and properly store deliveries to prevent damage.
• Help erect scaffolding and staging as directed by the lead.
• Maintain your own tools per the required tool list.
• Route all communication through the Lead Carpenter, taking notes as needed.
• Learn current project workflows, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Punch in/out and log daily work accurately using JobTread.
• Bring a humble approach and eagerness to learn on every job.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License - no exceptions.
• 1-3 years of documented experience.
• Highly motivated, professional, and eager to grow with the team.
• Basic computer skills with the willingness to learn cloud-based job management software.
• 10 hours per year of continued training, including OSHA and RRP.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive hourly pay with overtime after 40 hours; weekly payroll (Fridays) via JobTread electronic time tracking.
• After 30 days: Performance check-in; possible company cell phone and credit/Home Depot card for job-related purchases.
• After 60 days: $50,000 life insurance and long-term disability coverage.

What You'll Do:

• Be a true team player - jump in and help wherever it benefits the company and crew.
• Get comfortable with JobTread (our main job management software) to support the production team.
• Learn current project workflows, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Assist the Lead Carpenter and Production Manager with on-site carpentry, assigned field tasks, material lists, and anything else you can contribute to.
• Apply solid knowledge of home construction sequencing.
• Read and follow plans, specifications, and construction documents accurately.
• Bring and maintain your own essential tools and safety gear daily (safety glasses, work boots, tool belt, basic hand tools, impact driver, drill, circular saw - extra tools are a bonus). We supply all fasteners, blades, and consumables.
